Maren Fritsche

Bio

Maren was born in Moscow,Russia and grew up in Germany. After becoming a physiotherapist,she fell in love with pilates . In 2010 she became a mat pilates instructor and shortly after did the classical comprehensive teacher training through The Pilates Standard in Hamburg,Germany in 2013. In 2015 she and her partner traveled through Asia and settled in Nelson,New Zealand. Maren quickly became part of the pilates community in Nelson and attended workshops in New Zealand as well as in Australia. After her two pregnancies her interest in pre and postnatal work was sparked .She then specialized in women's health and loves working with pregnant clienst as well as supporting them on ther journey to recover from birth. With her background as a physio she loves helping clients preventing injuries and with recovering after such as well as rehabilitation after surgery. Maren is a kind and patient teacher with the ability to guide the most nervous clients as well as she is able to challenge athletes and advanced clients. She loves sharing her knowledge and provides workshops about pelvic floor health/pregnacy pilates/postnatal pilates to other pilates teachers.
